Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our part-time remote team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for handling Tier 1 customer calls, resolving technical issues, and providing exceptional support experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to work from home, enjoy flexible hours, and earn a competitive hourly rate of $20.

Key Responsibilities

As a blithequark Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering customer questions and requests for supplies, service, and troubleshooting 1st-level technical issues via inbound calls, voice mails, emails, and alerts
  • Providing clear and concise communications, following up with customers on company schedules, requested lead, and delivery times
  • Working with the Tier 2 team to seamlessly pass escalated customer technical issues quickly and efficiently
  • Tracking, routing, and escalating unresolved issues to management
  • Remaining current on constant process updates and technology used within the company
  • Performing duties with awareness and in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Performing other duties as directed by management

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma
  • A reliable internet connection (Wi-Fi or DSL)
  • Experience in a call center environment (a plus)
  • Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, Order processing systems, and Contact Management systems
  • Ability to empathize with customers and provide exceptional support experiences
  • Ability to multi-task (talking and typing simultaneously) in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic internet skills
  • Professional communication skills with a high degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion
  • Ability to navigate through multiple systems

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Knowledge of CRM software and customer relationship management principles
  • Experience with order processing systems and contact management systems
  • Familiarity with blithequark's products and services (a plus)
