Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative - Airport Operations, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, while ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
• Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related incidents.
• Safely operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
• Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to the customer's destination.
• Providing exceptional customer service to our valued passengers, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Work Environment and Schedule

As a member of our airport operations team, you can expect to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. Your schedule will be based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. Each station is unique, with its individual flight schedule, and you will work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on your seniority.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in English.
• Pass a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video.
• Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
• Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
