Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling for Last Mile Operations

Job Summary

As a full stack data scientist on our Last Mile team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models to optimize our operations and improve customer satisfaction. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions that drive business results. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining complex data pipelines, developing predictive models, and deploying them to production.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement machine learning models to optimize our operations and improve customer satisfaction

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Build and maintain complex data pipelines to support predictive modeling
  • Develop predictive models using a variety of techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and ensemble methods
  • Deploy models to production and monitor their performance
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data architectures that support predictive modeling
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data science
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and predictive modeling

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or GCP
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or a related field
  • Experience with deep learning techniques and architectures
  • Experience with natural language processing and text analysis
  • Experience with computer vision and image analysis
  • Experience with data engineering and data architecture
  • Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
