Our platform is revolutionizing the way people connect with beauty professionals, and we’re looking for a creative, on-camera-savvy Content Creator to help us tell our story on TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and Youtube Shorts. If you’re obsessed with social media, love making videos (with you in them!), and are constantly thinking of creative ideas, this role is for you! What You’ll Do Create Engaging Video Content: Develop, film, and edit high-quality, on-brand short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels. You’ll be the face of our content and bring energy, authenticity, and style to every post. Stay on Top of Trends: Keep a pulse on TikTok, Instagram, and industry trends to create content that is fresh, relevant, and engaging. Bring Big Ideas: Pitch and execute creative, strategic content ideas that align with our brand, resonate with our audience, and drive engagement. Get Out and Film! Travel to salons, barbershops, and beauty professionals to capture behind-the-scenes moments, customer testimonials, and real-world content. ✂️ Edit Like a Pro: Handle your own video editing using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or other editing tools, ensuring videos are polished and optimized for each platform. Optimize for Performance: Use platform best practices (hooks, captions, music, and trends) to drive engagement and growth. Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with our marketing team, social media manager, and creative team to align content with campaigns and brand goals. Track & Iterate: Analyze content performance and use insights to refine and improve future videos. Who You Are ✅ A Natural in Front of the Camera: Comfortable creating personality-driven content where you speak directly to an audience. ✅ Trend-Savvy & Socially Fluent: You live on TikTok and Instagram, understand what works, and can quickly jump on trends while making them your own. ✅ A Self-Starter & Idea Machine: You’re proactive, always thinking of new angles and content opportunities, and can execute ideas from start to finish. ✅ Skilled in Video Editing: Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar editing software. ✅ Confident Filming Others: Willing to visit beauty professionals, barbers, and salons to capture real-life content and interviews. ✅ Strong Storyteller: Ability to craft engaging narratives in short-form content that captivates audiences and drives interaction. ✅ Detail-Oriented & Organized: Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality content delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in content creation, social media marketing, or video production.
- Portfolio of past TikTok and Instagram Reels content (please include links!).
- Experience working in beauty, wellness, fashion, or lifestyle industries is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and experience using insights to optimize content.
