Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our team of talented developers, designers, and innovators. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge web and cloud applications that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
As a full stack software engineer at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including:
- Designing and developing web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and cloud platforms like AWS and GCP
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets the highest standards of quality and reliability
- Troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues and developing creative solutions
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of best practices and standards
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, and sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues
- Working closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
- Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, and Scala
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, and containerization using Docker
- Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools like Hadoop, Hive, and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization using Kubernetes
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies like serverless computing and event-driven architecture
- Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Docker
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
