About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our remote team, working closely with the Product and Data Science teams to deliver exceptional business results. As a key technical expert, you'll be responsible for:

• Understanding business information requirements and analyzing business systems and processes to identify the most suitable data sources
• Supporting the identification and utilization of statistical techniques, aiding in the planning, design, and execution of exploratory data analysis research projects
• Translating business requirements into tasks, activities, and assignments, and developing specific curricula to address business needs
• Collaborating with Data Scientists to identify suitable methodologies and tools to solve complex problems
• Creating informative graphical representations of data and model results, and designing tailored data visualizations for diverse datasets

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
• A passion for problem-solving, accompanied by a scientific mindset and critical thinking
• Experience working with large datasets, extracting insights, and storytelling with data
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data analysis, with the ability to play with massive data and write efficient code
• In-depth knowledge of Database technologies and distributed data stores (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), as well as Big Data and Cloud technologies like GCP BQ
• Familiarity with visualization tools and best practices, such as Looker, PowerBI, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degrees or certifications in Data Science, Analytics, or related fields
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a retail or e-commerce background
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in data analytics, such as machine learning and AI
