As a Product Manager on YouTube Living Room's Connected Experiences (CX) team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of second screen experiences, where people use their mobile devices to enhance their TV viewing experience. We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to drive the growth of second screen experiences, develop innovative features, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling experiences that delight users.

About the Role

In this role, you'll work closely with engineering, UX/UI, marketing, and other stakeholders to guide products from conception to launch. You'll be responsible for understanding markets, competition, and user requirements in depth, launching new products and features, and iterating quickly based on performance data. Your goal will be to drive the growth of watch time, daily active users, and second screen engagement, while expanding our existing CX platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand Markets and User Requirements: Conduct in-depth research to understand user needs, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Launch New Products and Features: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
  • Work Cross-Functionally: Partner with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams to develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Drive Growth and Engagement: Develop strategies to drive the growth of watch time, daily active users, and second screen engagement.
  • Expand CX Platforms: Collaborate with teams to expand our existing CX platforms and deliver uniquely compelling experiences.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: A degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ Years of Product Management Experience: Experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 1+ Year of Experience Launching Technical Products: Experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • Advanced Degree: A Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business-related field.
  • Business Function Experience: 2+ years of experience in a business function or role, such as strategic marketing, business operations, or consulting.
  • Technical Presentation Experience: 2+ years of experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Experience: 2+ years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Software Development Experience: 1+ year of experience in software development or engineering.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We're offering a competitive salary range of $122,000-$178,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Our compensation package is designed to reward our employees for their hard work and dedication. You'll also have access to a range of perks and benefits, including:
