As a Seller Operations Associate, you will play a vital role in managing transactions and fostering strong relationships with our valued sellers and customers.

As a Customer Service Associate, you will be an integral part of this mission, working closely with sellers and customers to resolve issues and provide timely assistance.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Seller Operations Associate at blithequark, your primary focus will be on delivering elite customer service to both sellers and customers. Your responsibilities will evolve over time, and here is a breakdown of what you can expect in the first 30, 90, and 180 days:

First 30 Days: Onboarding and Training

  • Complete new hire orientation, gaining a comprehensive understanding of blithequark's operations and the live event industry.
  • Develop knowledge of ticket marketplaces and your role in providing great experiences for customers.
  • Acquire industry knowledge, experience, and critical thinking skills to proactively identify potential order issues and find solutions.

60-90 Days: Taking on Additional Responsibilities

  • Investigate instances where customer experience has been affected, determine the root cause, and resolve issues fairly and constructively.
  • Handle day-to-day interactions with sellers beyond traditional customer service responsibilities.
  • Navigate the order queue to provide real-time assistance and ensure timely confirmation by ticket sellers.
  • Manage in-bound seller calls regarding a wide range of questions.

Beyond 90 Days: Continued Growth and Development

  • Play an active role in continued learning to advance skill sets necessary for individual and team goals.
  • Monitor open and pending orders to ensure timely confirmation by ticket sellers.
  • Continuously develop your skills and expertise to provide exceptional customer service and support to sellers and customers.

What You'll Bring to the Role

To succeed as a Seller Operations Associate at blithequark, you will need:

  • Outstanding communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • A strong customer service mindset with problem-solving, decision-making, and resolution skills.
  • An interest in the live event space and an eager-to-learn attitude.

Work Environment and Schedule

blithequark offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. The initial 4 weeks of employment will be spent in training, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, and is paid. After training, you will work a night shift schedule:

  • 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm, with Tuesday and Wednesday off.
  • 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm, with Wednesday and Thursday off.

Compensation and Benefits

blithequark offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A base salary of $40,000, with overtime eligibility.
  • Bi-annual bonuses and an annual equity grant.
  • A comprehensive benefits package (details available upon request).
