A Day in the Life of a Customer Care Specialist II at blithequark

As a Customer Care Specialist II, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing critical service and product information to ensure their satisfaction. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Successfully troubleshooting and resolving customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone, email, and/or chat contacts
  • Providing customers with accurate and timely service and product information to ensure their satisfaction
  • Processing orders and entering data into our order entry system
  • Tracking customer packages and ensuring timely delivery
  • Other duties as assigned to support our customer-centric mission

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and courteous manner
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about our products and services
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members or management as needed

Technical Skills

  • Utilize computer systems and software to manage customer interactions and resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal assistance
  • Maintain accurate records and data in our order entry system

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high sense of urgency
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve shared goals

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of experience in a customer service-focused environment, such as a contact center, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high sense of urgency
  • Understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting issues with minimal assistance
  • Ability to work a set schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with required overtime as business needs dictate

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a remote work environment
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and order entry systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
