Experienced Customer Operations Advisor – Remote Customer Support Specialist

Your Role as a Customer Operations Advisor

As a Customer Operations Advisor, you'll be the face of blithequark, providing top-notch support to our customers through various channels, including phone, social media, email, and in-app chat. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer support by listening to customers' concerns, empathizing with their issues, and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Communicating with customers in a clear, concise, and friendly manner, using your excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactively identifying patterns in customer feedback and concerns, and working with our product team to implement changes that improve the customer experience.
  • Collaborating with our Financial Crime team to identify and investigate potential scams and suspicious activity.
  • Dealing with complex payments-related queries, including investigating missing transfers and Direct Debits, and helping customers manage their accounts.
  • Escalating customer feedback and feature requests to our product team, and ensuring that customers are treated fairly and their concerns are addressed.
  • Supporting other members of the COps team by providing guidance, mentoring, and training.

Your Working Life and Shift Requirements

As a remote Customer Operations Advisor, you'll work on an open availability contract basis, which means your shift pattern will change on a weekly basis. You'll be required to work some weekend days and have days off in the same working week. We guarantee one full weekend off per month, and you'll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in various areas of the COps team.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • To be a UK resident and currently living in the UK.
  • To have the right to work in the UK, with satisfactory proof of this.
  • To be over 18 years old.
  • To be passionate about delivering exceptional customer support and resolving issues efficiently.
  • To have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • To be comfortable using a laptop and have a solid understanding of technology.
  • To be friendly, organized, and able to work independently.
  • To have a strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • To be able to work from home in a safe, private, and distraction-free environment with a solid internet connection (download speed - 10mbps; upload speed - 3 mbps).
