What You'll Do as a Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you'll be responsible for handling inbound calls from our many cardholders, providing exceptional customer service, and building relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling inbound calls from cardholders, resolving inquiries, authorizing sales, and maintaining up-to-date computerized customer information
  • Building relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues through effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Maintaining a quiet, distraction-free work environment with access to high-speed internet
  • Utilizing Microsoft Outlook and other computer software to manage information and communicate with team members

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and effectively communicate with colleagues
  • Proficient computer skills, including the ability to manage information in multiple windows, type while talking, and utilize Microsoft Outlook
  • 6+ months of customer service experience (or military equivalent experience)
  • Ability to live within a 2.5-hour commute of the Rapid City, SD location
  • 18 years or older
  • Willingness to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas)

We'll provide you with the computer, technology, and equipment needed to successfully perform your job. Occasionally, you may be requested to meet in person, so you must live within a commutable distance of Rapid City, SD.
