Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Order Processing and Production Support, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer orders generated by account managers in a timely and accurate manner
- Facilitating the production process by ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and complete
- Checking orders over $5000 for accuracy and verifying purchase order correspondence with quotations
- Documenting and arranging releases from inventory, as well as filing tickets for completed jobs
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of production capabilities and product offerings
- Evaluating and verifying purchase order correspondence with quotations, and verifying with account managers when questions arise
- Preparing materials for return to customers and documenting Haz-Mat orders
- Ordering marketing materials and managing internal forms, such as custom labels, bills of lading, job tickets, and invoices
- Managing FSI and FSC records and filling in for account managers when necessary
- Assisting the estimating department as required and performing additional tasks and duties as delegated by the Director of Sales
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED) required; associate's degree or technical school preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or production support role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new software applications quickly
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a manufacturing office environment with minimal travel required
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Bronze designation on ACT in lieu of high school equivalency
- Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or production industry
- Knowledge of production capabilities and product offerings
- Familiarity with FSI and FSC records management

Compensation and Benefits
