Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Pinterest strategy for Her Campus, College Fashionista, and Spoon University, including creating pins to drive traffic to website content and video pins.
• Schedule existing social content to Pinterest and assist with testing new Pinterest features to enhance our social media presence.
• Collaborate with our social media team to support special projects across our social channels, including social media franchises and campaigns to promote editorial launches.
• Create video content for Pinterest, TikTok, and Instagram, occasionally serving as one of the "faces" of our brands.
• Research the latest social media trends and brainstorm ways to adapt popular memes to fit our audience.
• Schedule posts across platforms and assist with other social media-related tasks as needed.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be a current college undergraduate student.
• Possess strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
• Have a working knowledge of all Google for Work tools.
• Be detail-oriented, efficient, and creative, with a strong work ethic.
• Be passionate about the Her Campus mission and values.
• Have strong video editing skills and be comfortable being on camera.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experiences will be considered a plus:

• A deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram, both from a creator and user perspective.
• An interest in creating content related to pop culture, beauty, career, style, and lifestyle.
• Previous experience in social media marketing or content creation.
