Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you'll serve as a single-point-of-contact for our members, plan sponsors, and providers, resolving issues and providing customized support. You'll work in our Blue Bell, PA location for 19 weeks of training, followed by a work-from-home arrangement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to phone calls from members, plan sponsors, and providers, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Take ownership of each customer contact, seeking to understand their needs, circumstances, and expectations.
  • Ask probing questions to identify underlying customer needs and provide related information to answer unasked questions.
  • Provide customized interactions based on customer preferences and individualized needs, creating an emotional connection with our members.
  • Educate and assist customers on various elements of benefit plan information and available services, enhancing the overall customer service experience.
  • Utilize relevant information to effectively influence member engagement and provide education to support members in managing their health.
  • Guide members to the appropriate health resource, offering alternatives where necessary, and act with the best interest of the customer in mind.
  • Document and track all contacts, events, and outcomes with members using appropriate systems and processes.
  • Resolve issues without or with limited management intervention, responding quickly to meet customer needs and resolve problems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High School Diploma required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology and concepts.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field.

  • Empathy and compassion when interacting with customers.
  • Active listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Training, Shift, and Salary:

  • Training: Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm onsite at our Blue Bell, PA location for 19 weeks.
  • Shift Hours: Must have availability from 8am-8pm EST (8-hour shift).
  • Salary: $17.50 per hour.
