Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring high-quality output and meeting client turnaround times.
  • Navigating efficiently and effectively through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, leveraging your technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Differentiating between various claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines, demonstrating your ability to adapt to different scenarios.
  • Identifying specific document types that require special handling, showcasing your keen eye for detail and understanding of our processes.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, highlighting your teamwork and communication skills.
  • Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt.

Additional Responsibilities

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  • Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, providing constructive feedback and contributing to the team's overall quality.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed, showcasing your versatility and commitment to our shared goals.
  • Alert management to potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, demonstrating your proactive approach and attention to detail.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role is necessary, providing a solid foundation in data entry principles and practices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output and minimizing errors.
  • A high degree of accuracy, meeting the required standards for data entry and processing.

If selected for further consideration, candidates will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment, achieving a minimum score of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate.
