We are revolutionizing the way the world moves for future generations, and we want someone who is ready to move with us.Who will you be working with?The Product Management team for the Signaling & Systems business is focused on supporting various back-office technologies such as Dispatching, Customer Information Systems, SCADA, and PTC applications. This is a technology savvy team with significant experience in rail operations, software development, and project execution. You will work directly with the customers, Project Management teams, Engineering teams, and other product management leaders as well as the Digital Intelligence growth and sales teams.How will you make a difference? As a member of the Signaling & Systems Product Management team, you will be responsible for managing the TCOS product portfolio, focused on CAD, CIS, BOS, SSMC, and various common products, with respect to maintenance contracts, new projects, New Product Initiatives, and the overall product roadmap. In this role, you will create, maintain, and execute a clear direction for the products and associated subsystems. By working with Engineering, Sales, and Project organizations you will create value propositions for the existing products and propose innovative solutions to grow the Dispatch market. You will learn the challenges your customers are dealing with through discovery and VOC and will help shape the customers' vision. You will interact with Engineering with a clear and descriptive set of requirements captured as user stories and partner with the team to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt. What do we want to know about you? You must have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, product management, or closely related degree
- Minimum of 8 years of Product Management experience, preferably in software solutions
- Experience in software development lifecycle
- Rail industry experience
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent communication, strategy, financial, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated strong business acumen, problem solving and creative skills, ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on market and customer trends - go beyond the status quo
- Technical acumen to interface with technologists, understand complex concepts and translate in a way that businesses or industry can understand
- Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non-technical audiences alike across all organizational levels. Flexibility to navigate cultural nuances and business practices and adapt strategies accordingly.

- Engaging customers with respect to product issues, concerns, and product roadmap considerations

- Planning and participating in key industry events such as APTA, IEEE, AREMA, RSSI, etc.
- Assessing key product related issues and helping the PM team to prioritize development initiatives and release plans
- Building the product's value proposition with all external and internal stake holders
- Working with various operating regions to establish priorities on development needs
- Working with other Product Managers within S&S and across DI for benchmarking, integration, and solution creation
- Assessing RFP and technical requirements to determine value proposition, risks, and overall alignment to the product roadmap
- Proactive customer engagement to assess customer satisfaction and escalation for critical issues
