Job Summary

As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk at Blithequark, you'll play a vital role in supporting our operations by performing data entry, filing, and administrative tasks. You'll be responsible for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality in your work, while also contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and customer-centricity. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry tasks for accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment inventory, and confidential employee or departmental files with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Copy, collate, and prepare reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence.
  • Assist with filing and maintaining organized records and documents.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Work independently and identify solutions to problems or challenges that arise.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and goals.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute with accuracy.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications.
  • Basic understanding of office equipment and software.
  • Familiarity with clerical procedures and systems, including recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry or a related field.
  • Knowledge of accounting or administrative software.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certification in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
