About the Role

As a Medical Content Developer and Reviewer for i-Human Patients, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing academic content for our virtual patient simulations. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare education, curriculum design, and the latest trends in simulation-based learning. You will work closely with our team of experts to create engaging, realistic patient scenarios that test students' critical thinking skills and prepare them for real-world practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Develop original patient encounters and other educational resources for i-Human Patients, ensuring they are realistic, challenging, and aligned with learning objectives.
• Collaboration: Work with peers and consultants to expand our healthcare media and educational resources, and to develop support materials for i-Human Patients.
• Customer Support: Partner with sales, nurse consultants, and customer engagement specialists to provide expert knowledge and support for client implementations, best practices, and product usage.
• Product Development: Collaborate with our engineering team to identify opportunities for product enhancements and to improve the quality of our i-Human Patients products.
• Staying Current: Remain up-to-date with the latest advances and innovations in curriculum development, healthcare education, and simulation-based learning.
• Technical Skills: Maintain proficiency in a range of business applications, including Google Sheets, Microsoft products, and Smartsheets, and be willing to learn new technologies as they emerge.

Essential Qualifications

• Clinical Background: A Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate degree is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience.
• Education Experience: At least 5 years of experience in healthcare education, with a focus on simulation-based learning (minimum 3 years).
• Curriculum Design: Considerable knowledge of curricular design principles and their application in healthcare education.
• i-Human Products: Expert working knowledge of i-Human's products, features, and enhancements.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a range of stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Google and Microsoft products, Smartsheets, and a willingness to adapt to new applications and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Degree: A master's degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
• Teaching Experience: Experience teaching or developing curriculum for healthcare professionals.
• Simulation Expertise: Advanced knowledge of simulation-based learning principles and their application in healthcare education.
