We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant for MKTG 472, Brand Management, in the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our brand management course, working closely with our faculty and students to create an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and updating course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, and exams
  • Grade assignments and provide feedback to students
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the course, such as maintaining student records and communicating with students
  • Support the instructor in delivering the course, including leading discussion sections and providing guidance to students
  • Maintain academic integrity and student confidentiality
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A background in marketing, with a strong understanding of branding and brand management concepts
  • Completed an undergraduate degree, preferably in marketing or a related field
  • Work experience in branding and brand management, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have a master's degree in marketing or a related field
  • Have experience teaching or leading discussion sections
  • Are familiar with course materials and technologies used in the Smeal College of Business
