Job Summary

As a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries and concerns via phone and chat. You will provide information about our products and services, troubleshoot online issues, and offer solutions to ensure a seamless customer experience. This is a full-time remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls and chats from customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries.
  • Determine customer needs and provide appropriate solutions, including responding to general questions about our products and services.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues related to online orders, tracking, and deliveries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, purchasing, and operations staff, to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Utilize multiple computer programs simultaneously on multiple screens while on the phone or responding to chats.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Offer compensations and alternatives as required.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Education and Training:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is an asset.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Online Business Customer Service Specialist Certification after completion of a 14-day training program.

Experience:

  • Previous customer service experience is highly valued.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Proficient in computer applications, with strong typing skills (minimum 30 wpm) and business writing abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to take ownership of issues and resolve them efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and split days off.

  • Strong background in customer service, with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a high level of adaptability and stress management.
  • Bilingual capabilities are an asset.
  • Experience with inventory management and logistics is a plus.
