Responsibilities

As a Remote Chat Support Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers through chat. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via chat in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that customers feel valued and heard.
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, such as refunds, replacement products, or other solutions.
  • Following up with customers to ensure their issues are fully resolved and that they are satisfied with the outcome.
  • Using available resources to research and provide accurate information to customers, staying up-to-date on the latest information to provide accurate answers.
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues to appropriate departments, such as customer service, sales, or technical support.
  • Meeting daily and weekly performance metrics, including metrics related to customer satisfaction, response times, and issue resolution times.
  • Providing feedback to management on customer concerns, trends, and issues to help us continually improve our products and services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a customer service or support role, preferably in a remote or e-commerce environment.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and other e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with chat software, such as Zendesk or Freshdesk.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field.
