About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven individual to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our data structure teams, ensuring that our data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter data into our systems with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Verify data for errors or inconsistencies and correct them as needed
• Maintain data quality and integrity by following established procedures and guidelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is properly utilized and integrated into our systems
• Stay up-to-date with changing data requirements and adapt to new processes and procedures as needed

Our Data Structure Teams

Our data structure teams are responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that enables us to utilize data to drive business decisions. We have several teams that focus on different aspects of data management, including:

Metadata Permission Platform

This team builds and operates a scalable metadata platform that facilitates data queries at sub-millisecond latencies while allowing blithequark microservices to store, consume, and manage their data more efficiently.

Data Platform Foundation

This team serves as a platform for our internal data platforms, enabling blithequark to provide state-of-the-art data and analytics structures to the rest of the organization without building custom platforms for each new system.

Data Development and Management

This team offers a self-service platform for various client personas across blithequark to meet their low-latency data development and management needs, enabling reflection across complex streaming designs like Kafka and link.

Big Data Engineering

This team is responsible for providing the cloud-native platform for distributed data processing at blithequark, offering assistance for Spark, ETL data into the Petabytes-scale data warehouse, and access that data using Spark and Presto/TrinoDB.

Big Data Orchestration

This team provides the platform for scheduling, managing, and executing big data jobs and workflows in a self-serve way, integrating fundamental services that have all ETL and ML jobs running on Big Data Systems at blithequark.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems components or applications
• Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Experience with building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience with cloud-based technologies and distributed systems
• Knowledge of data processing frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, or Flink
• Familiarity with data storage solutions such as relational databases, NoSQL databases, or data warehouses
