Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to Inbound Inquiries: Handle a high volume of inbound phone, email, and chat inquiries from applicants, providing effective communication and problem-solving skills to resolve their queries.
  • Technical Assistance: Offer technical assistance to applicants, enabling them to complete their applications successfully.
  • Computerized System Navigation: Navigate our computerized system to respond to and troubleshoot applicant questions, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with applicants and provide personalized support.
  • Knowledge of Application Programs: Become and remain knowledgeable about all Blithequark application programs, providing excellent applicant support and staying up-to-date on program developments.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest solutions to enhance our processes and improve the overall customer experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience, with effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Technical Savviness: Technologically savvy, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Cultural Competence: Strong ability to work well with people from varied cultural, socioeconomic, educational, and experiential backgrounds.
  • Independence and Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new challenges.
  • High-Volume Activity: Ability to work with a high volume of activity (phone, email, and chat).
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: High level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual Abilities: Bilingual abilities in English/Chinese (Mandarin)/Spanish are preferred.
  • Schedule Preference: 6 am-3 pm schedule preferred.
  • U.S. Work Authorization: Have U.S. work authorization.
