Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician on our 3rd shift team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and performing timely repairs
  • Establishing appropriate frequency and performing regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility
  • Performing timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Dismantling defective machines/equipment and installing new or repaired equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs
  • Coordinating and making recommendations on work-related contracts and services
  • Supervising outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
  • Participating, supporting, and complying with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements
  • Meeting TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an industrial, maintenance environment
  • College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
  • Safety-oriented mindset, as this is a Safety Sensitive role

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
  • Previous experience with preventive maintenance and repair of machinery/equipment
