Design Engineer
We’re looking for a Design Engineer with strong visual instincts and refined taste to shape how people experience Laravel, across the website, campaigns, and every branded moment in between. You’ll play a key role in making our sites lively, interactive, and beautiful.
Developer Relations’ goal is to help present the best foot forward between Laravel and its strong and passionate community of builders. You need to be comfortable diving in, converting Figma designs to code, and bringing designs to life with motion and animation.
We are looking for somebody that obsesses over elegant code and pixel perfection.
In this role, you will…- Converting Figma designs into clean, elegant code
- Bringing designs to life with motion and animation
- Ensuring pixel-perfect implementation of visual designs
- Enhancing user experience through thoughtful interaction design
- Contributing to Laravel's website and marketing campaigns
- You’ll interview with our team
- You’ll have a take home Figma to code task
Requirements
- Have web design and dev experience
- Motion, 3D, or illustration skills
- Have a strong portfolio that shows taste, clarity, and range
- Are comfortable designing across brand and web
- Have experience turning ideas into real things
- Value craft and know how to push visual quality
- Stay inspired and keep good references around you
- Are low ego and high impact
