About the Role

As a Senior Interaction Designer at Google, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing innovative products and services that set industry standards. Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A four-year college education in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in product design or UX, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.
• Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and build UI mockups and prototypes.
• A portfolio that showcases a variety of projects and your direct contributions, demonstrating your expertise and versatility as a designer.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, having the following qualifications can further enhance your candidacy:

• A graduate degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in product design or UX, with a focus on complex, cross-functional projects.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization, navigating multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• 2 years of experience leading design projects, with a proven ability to drive projects from concept to completion.
• 1 year of experience working with executive leaders, influencing product design strategy and direction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms like desktop and mobile (Android and iOS).
• The ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features within a client-focused design process, driving innovation and growth.
• Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategy, with the ability to articulate design decisions and recommendations.
