Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team at Heart of Gold Care Homes Inc. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our data, supporting efficient operations, and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Duties and Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for the following key duties and responsibilities:
  • Enter and update resident information, medical records, and other data accurately and efficiently into electronic databases and systems.
  • Perform data verification and quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive resident information in compliance with privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with organizing and filing physical documents, records, and paperwork as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate data entry tasks and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Generate reports, spreadsheets, and other documents as requested, using data from electronic systems.
  • Provide support and assistance to team members and supervisors as needed, including answering inquiries and providing information related to data entry processes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in data entry or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in data entry or administrative support role, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail; proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and experience with data entry software or electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations and company policies.
