Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Server Farm Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Performing routine server maintenance, including hardware upgrades and software updates
- Troubleshooting and repairing server issues, including hardware and software problems
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Participating in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage
- Maintaining accurate records of server performance and issues
- Collaborating with other teams to develop and implement process improvements
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in server maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Strong knowledge of server hardware and software, including Windows Server and Linux
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in server maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experience with cloud services and data center operations
- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python
- Experience with IT service management tools, such as ServiceNow
- Certification in server administration or a related field
