TWD is currently seeking a General Plant Maintenance Coach to support our client office based in the Catlettsburgh, Kentucky for contract position! Job Summary: The General Plant Maintenance Coach will dedicate his or her time and energy to managing all aspects of the maintenance process in their assigned area(s) of responsibility. This includes leading the hourly work-force to function as a self-directed team. This also includes utilizing predictive and preventative maintenance tools to safely and effectively support the operation. The manager's responsibilities include supporting Corporate Policies and Programs to manage the workforce. Examples include eTime, Behavior Based Safety Observations, Housekeeping Audits and cooperating with the Environmental, Safety, Process Engineers, and Facilities Engineers to implement new equipment and work practices to the plant. The Maintenance Engineer and Coach is responsible to assist the Maintenance Manager in leading the Maintenance Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Administrative
- Identify and implement expense work to maintain asset utilization, safety, and equipment reliability
- Understand maintenance accounts and stay aware of cost performance vs. budget
- Monitor maintenance KPIs, report on performance, and act on performance issues
- Requisition parts
- Review and approve maintenance documentation, MOC, CAMs, PMs, KPI records, project drawings, etc.
- The successful candidate must be able to work well with peers and in a team environment. Able to communicate pertinent information to ensure that production operation runs safely and efficiently on all shifts. Must be confident and have ability to drive change, lead by example, demonstrate managerial courage, and engage direct reports.
