Translator

We are seeking a skilled Translator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication across languages, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate translations for our organization.

• Translate written documents, including reports, correspondence, and marketing materials, from one language to another
• Proofread and edit translated content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness
• Maintain translation databases and glossaries to ensure consistency across projects
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand technical terminology and context
• Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines
• Stay updated on language trends, cultural nuances, and industry-specific terminology
• Assist in developing and maintaining style guides for different languages
• Provide interpretation services for meetings and conferences when required

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
• Fluency in Arabic and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
• Proven experience as a professional translator, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Excellent writing and communication skills in both source and target languages
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality translations consistently
• Proficiency in using translation software and computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong research skills and ability to quickly grasp new concepts and terminology
• Cultural sensitivity and awareness, particularly regarding Arabic culture
• Knowledge of industry-specific terminology (e.g., legal, medical, technical) is advantageous
• Certification from a recognized translation association is preferred
