About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Remote Chat Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch live chat support to our clients' customers via their websites and social media accounts. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional live chat support to customers via our clients' websites and social media accounts, responding to a wide range of queries and concerns.
  • Handle customer support questions and sales inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate responses.
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their products and services, and provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve complex customer issues and escalate concerns to senior support specialists as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with our clients' products and services, and participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong background in customer support, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in using a range of software applications, including live chat tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop).
  • 10+ hours availability per week, with flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
  • Knowledge of our clients' products and services, or a willingness to learn.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience using live chat software, such as Zendesk or Freshdesk.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
