Job Summary

The Program Management Manager II serves as the primary coordinator for the Enterprise Program Management practice area, ensuring that UPS meets client obligations, performance, and financial metrics. This role develops and leads efforts to improve service quality and exceed customer expectations, and may manage multiple subsidiaries and supervisory or administrative staff. The incumbent identifies, resolves, and escalates issues and concerns from Business Development, customers, and Operations to ensure customers' needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary coordinator for Enterprise Program Management and team members, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across functions
  • Sponsors the creation and implementation of programs to develop processes and procedures that drive business growth and improvement
  • Plans and implements initiatives that translate high-level organizational goals into business plans, ensuring alignment with customer needs and UPS goals
  • Trains staff on account management to ensure continuity of customer relationships and develops strategies to retain customers and maintain revenue levels
  • Sets product service standards to drive consistency in customer service practices and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitors Program Management metrics across all PM-supported accounts to ensure UPS is fulfilling its commitments to customers

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
  • Must be willing and able to travel for work
  • Must have experience supervising others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Complex knowledge of small package operations and their impact on other parts of the business
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Program Management products and their benefits to Industrial Engineering, Sales and Solutions, peak planning, and customers
  • Experience with project management tools and technology, such as Data Warehouse, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Project, and Program Management Group website
  • Ability to apply Service, Product, and Customer Technology Knowledge to compare and contrast customer experiences across all touchpoints
  • Anticipation of industry, financial, and global trends impacting UPS and customers' organizations, with strategic recommendations based on anticipated trends
  • Experience with multiple large, complex Enterprise Customer Facing engagements

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base pay ranging from $104,000/year to $133,000/year
