Job Summary

We're seeking an entry-level Process Drafter/Designer to join our team, focusing on mechanical and piping design utilizing AutoCAD and Navisworks platforms. As a Process Drafter/Designer, you'll play a vital role in developing equipment layout drawings, piping design, process systems, and mechanical and system layouts. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project coordination and travel to project sites to take field measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop equipment layout drawings in 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Navisworks platforms
• Create piping design, process systems, mechanical and system layouts supporting large heavy industrial and pulp and paper industries
• Implement BIM Modeling protocols to stay at the forefront of technology
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
• Travel to project sites within the pulp and paper industry and other heavy industrial industries to take field measurements
• Desire to grow your experience in mechanical and piping design, and learn from experienced professionals

Essential Qualifications:

• Competent with 2D and 3D technology platforms, specifically AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Revit MEP, and Navisworks
• Strong understanding of mechanical and piping design principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to learn and grow
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, design)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Revit MEP, and Navisworks
• Familiarity with BIM Modeling protocols
• Experience working in the heavy industrial or pulp and paper industries
