About the Role

As an English Tutor on the Preply platform, you'll have the freedom to teach English online to students worldwide, set your own schedule, and determine your hourly rate. Key Responsibilities

• Teach English online to Preply students globally, creating engaging and personalized lessons
• Develop and implement your own lesson plans or utilize Preply's curriculum to meet the diverse needs of your students
• Manage your schedule and availability through Preply's integrated calendar, ensuring seamless lesson planning and execution
• Access Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars for professional development and training, enhancing your teaching skills and staying updated on best practices
• Provide comprehensive materials and resources to support student learning, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Track student progress, adjust your teaching strategies as needed, and celebrate student achievements

Essential Qualifications

• Proficiency in English, with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
• A University degree or a recognized certification in English language teaching (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification
• Experience in teaching one-on-one classes, preferably online, with a proven track record of student success
• A high-speed internet connection and a suitable workspace for online teaching
• Energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful, with a passion for teaching and learning
