Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead causal research with the clear goal of answering business questions, driving decision-making across the organization.
• Present and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to executives, business leaders, and cross-functional partners, ensuring clarity and transparency around uncertainty and assumptions.
• Serve as a peer-reviewer and subject matter expert for causal research designed by other teams, promoting best practices and high-quality research.
• Stay updated with advances in the causal inference literature, and develop new methods when appropriate, contributing to the team's expertise and capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Data, Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience articulating business and product questions and pulling data from datasets using SQL and statistical tools (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, etc.).
• Internship or experience with data evaluation, demonstrating your ability to work with data to drive insights.

Preferred Qualifications

To stand out as a candidate, you should have:

• Experience with Bayesian hierarchical models, Bayesian Additive Regression Trees (BART), Bayesian Causal Forest (BCF), Gaussian Processes, and Synthetic Control techniques, showcasing your expertise in advanced statistical methods.
