Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Manager, Human Resources Project Management to lead our global labor strategies and resource planning efforts. As a key member of our HR team, you'll be responsible for driving a holistic approach to planning and prioritizing labor initiatives globally, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing new processes and systems to inspire change across the organization. Responsibilities:

As a Manager, Human Resources Project Management, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing project management through identifying, tracking, monitoring, and communicating issues, variances, and contingencies while ensuring headcount movement and other identified HR projects are delivered on time.
  • Establishing and facilitating project governance, developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, using agreed tools. Involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring the critical success factors of the project are set and met.
  • Collaborating with HR leaders and cross-functional team members to align business processes. Maintaining effective communication and collaboration among the project team and any involved departments.
  • Effectively interpreting data to write, prepare, and build project documents, presentations, business updates, dashboards, and end-user communications. Telling the story through data-driven storytelling.
  • Acting as a strategic partner by developing authentic relationships and influencing across stakeholder groups.
  • Sourcing and managing internal and external resources to deliver projects.
  • Facilitating quality assurance, including regulatory, statutory, and corporate compliance.
  • Ensuring project risks and issues are effectively identified and managed; performing proactive contingency planning. Taking an active role in discussions about potential solutions and next steps.
  • Communicating project progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Analyzing successful completion of goals and projects to establish best practice; orchestrating project review and documenting lessons learned.
  • Leading and driving all aspects of project delivery to successful closure.
  • Planning and managing transition of the finished project; ensuring appropriate change management.
  • Ensuring that the project outcomes meet the expectation and requirements of the HR Director and other involved Executives, and that they comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum of 6 years of experience in labor strategy roles and/or project management roles, including the full cycle of project management.

  • Applied data management, analytics, and forecasting experience.
  • Technical knowledge of human resource functions and systems.
  • Team player who quickly builds trust and collaborative working relationships with business leaders and partners across many groups and geographies.
  • Ability to consolidate large amounts of information into user-friendly documents that help guide and instruct.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills. Ability to positively influence stakeholders at all hierarchical levels.
  • Ability to transform complex data sets into clear, compelling narratives that drive business decisions.
  • Experience in creating engaging and informative presentations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MS Teams, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Flexible and able to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong knowledge of Disney businesses, policies, and procedures.

  • Work experience that includes resource management for a project-based workforce.
  • Disney SAP, Workday (HR or Finance Processes), Clarity, and other system experience.

What We Offer:

* Competitive salary range: $137,100 to $167,500 per year.

  • Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
