Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Machinist - Gun Drilling Machine Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Gun Drilling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating gun drilling machines, inspecting parts, and performing general upkeep and maintenance to ensure optimal performance. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined and thrive in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Machine Operation: Load, monitor, and maintain gun drilling machines to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Inspection: Inspect parts during and after manufacturing to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintenance: Perform general upkeep and maintenance of drilling machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs, and be comfortable walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing/sitting for the duration of the shift.
- Environment: Work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high attention to detail.
Essential Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Mechanically inclined with prior machine operator or gun drilling experience.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs throughout an 8-10 hour shift.
- Experience reading blueprints.
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience working in a machining industry.
- Knowledge of gun drilling machines and their operation.
- Experience with quality control and inspection procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
