About the Role

As a Part-Time Security Officer at The Home Depot, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our Supply Chain Support Center (SSC) complex, partners, and guests. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in security and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the SSC complex and investigate unusual events, reporting incidents and interviewing victims and witnesses as necessary.
• Respond to crisis situations of various types at SSC Atlanta, providing support and assistance as needed.
• Perform security inspection visits, documenting issues and informing relevant staff.
• Work in the Security Control Room, monitoring security cameras and responding to incidents.
• Screen security checks at SSC and other facilities as directed, monitoring and controlling events.
• Escort partners and guests to parking facilities as requested.
• Perform various other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the US.
• Possess the ability to read and write to review and complete required reports and record-keeping activities.
• Have effective communication skills to interact with and communicate with HD partners and guests.
• Possess basic skills to assess HD property and ensure the safety of HD partners and guests.

In addition to these minimum qualifications, we prefer candidates with:

• Three to a half years of experience in a security-related role.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
