As a hybrid role, you'll have the flexibility to split your time between our remote office and home, allowing you to strike the perfect work-life balance.

About the Role

As a General Warehouse Associate, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive their furniture purchases on time and in excellent condition. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely unloading trailers and accurately placing inventory in the warehouse
• Confirming item numbers and prepping merchandise for deliveries
• Loading merchandise into customers' vehicles
• Providing exceptional customer service and supporting your colleagues in the warehouse
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
• Collaborating with your team to achieve warehouse goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Willingness to submit to a physical capability test
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information to customers and team members
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

Schedule and Work Arrangements

This is a full-time or part-time position, with expected hours of 40 per week. You'll be required to work a variety of shifts, including:

• 10 hour shifts
• 8 hour shifts
• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime as needed
• Weekends as needed

Relocation Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need to be willing to relocate to Amherst, NY before starting work.
