Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Substance Balance Experience group. As a Senior Programmer II, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining our content balance experience's concealment frameworks and building tooling to engage support specialists to uphold Etsy strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain content balance experience's concealment frameworks using PHP, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
• Build tooling to engage support specialists and uphold Etsy strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Search, Promotions, Suggestions, and Advertising, to ensure purchaser experiences aren't decreased by surprising and violative content.
• Participate in code and design audits to maintain elevated standards of code quality.
• Work with item designing groups to incorporate our control devices into their work processes and run A/B tests.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and contribute to the development of our content control strategy.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
• Experience working with PHP, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
