Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to design and deliver new e-commerce experiences and customer communications. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing principles, project management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. This is a full-time position, working 8 hours a day, with a competitive salary of $27 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for National Geographic subscription request pages, reviewing demands for new request pages, optimizing request pages, multivariate testing, and changes to existing request pages.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to deliver requirements and ensure timely execution of projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date status of multiple synchronous requests through project management tools (Jira).
  • Ensure clarity and accuracy of pages for optimal customer experience and metadata for accurate analysis and measurement.
  • Keep accurate records of active and documented request pages, and related data via Excel or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with vendors to deprecate outdated request pages as needed.
  • Assist with planning and execution of various digital marketing strategies, including CRM messaging, house ads, and lead generation components on nationalgeographic.com.
  • Manage multiple projects of varying scope and size, clearly communicating project goals and objectives, stakeholder management, and establishing consistent deadlines.
  • Perform marketing-related research and competitive analysis on an as-needed basis, gathering best practices, insights, and past performance metrics.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in marketing, product marketing, or a comparable project management role (ideally in marketing).
  • Excellent attention to detail, focus on thorough documentation, and ability to meet or exceed deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and context switch easily in a fast-paced and constantly evolving organization with multiple work streams and projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead vendor and agency relationships with confidence and authority.
  • Experience working with standard office applications, such as MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with project management/productivity platforms like Jira.
  • Experience working with e-commerce, Email/CRM, or other marketing technologies.
