Job Summary

The Data Entry Representative will play a critical role in providing general clerical and administrative office duties, ensuring the smooth operation of our patient financial solutions. This part-time position will work from home, Monday through Friday, 9am-3pm, with some flexibility possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering patient and account data into our internal accounting system, responding to queries, and performing other administrative tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Type at a minimum of 45 words per minute and possess 10-key by touch skills
  • Insert patient and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from hospital systems into our internal accounting system
  • Edit and/or create PDF files or Excel files as required
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files from hospital partners, patients, attorneys, or other agencies working with our patient population
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and adapt

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma required, with a strong foundation in administrative support and data entry
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, and Exchange email, with the ability to learn new software applications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to multi-task, with excellent organizational and planning skills, and a strong attention to detail
