Job Description
- Develop and modify detailed Revit models for industrial plant layouts, including equipment, piping, structural elements, and utilities.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate models and drawings.
- Maintain and update Revit families, templates, and standards to ensure consistency across projects.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural) to ensure model integration and clash detection.
- Produce construction documents, layout plans, and as-built drawings.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of drafting processes.
- Ensure compliance with company and client drafting standards and procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience drafting with Revit, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of industrial plant components such as conveyors, tanks, piping systems, and structural supports.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or BIM 360 is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
