About the Role

As an Owner Service Agent, you'll be the frontline representative for GE Appliances, providing top-notch support to our customers across the USA. This remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. You'll be responsible for handling incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and fax, resolving issues, and providing product information and registration services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive owner-focused solutions for customer issues, utilizing creativity and judgment-based reasoning skills.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to parts sales, service, pre & post purchase, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Utilize GEA contact center systems to implement concession guidelines that benefit both the owner and GEA.
  • Create, update, and retrieve owner records to log facts surrounding complaints, actions, and resolutions.
  • Provide feedback to Quality and Training teams to improve training processes and materials.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Support other parts of the business as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two+ years of sales or service experience (desired).
  • Passion for customer service and problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work independently.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good typing ability and computer skills, with the ability to navigate multiple online applications.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate satisfactory resolutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with appliance industry or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements for Remote Work Environment

  • Dedicated work area that is quiet and spacious enough for ASI-provided equipment.
  • Local internet provider (no Satellite or DSL internet connections allowed).
  • Wireless Router capable of handling minimum internet speeds of 25mbps Download and 10mbps Upload.
  • Internet speeds must meet the following requirements: Ping 50mbps or lower, Download 25mbps or higher, and Upload 10mbps or higher.
