About Your Role

As an FP&A Manager at UBQ Materials, you'll be responsible for leading the business income statement, planning, results analysis, and reporting financials. You'll work closely with the CEO, CFO, and Global Operations and Finance Managers to drive overall business performance and demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes. This is a critical role that requires a high level of financial acumen, analytical skills, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all FP&A planning cycles, financial & operational target setting, critical business performance analytics, and external & internal financial communication streams.
  • Own income statement analytics for all UBQ legal entities, providing insightful recommendations on Sales / Contribution Margin / OPEX.
  • Drive the FP&A calendar for monthly/quarterly closing, planning, and estimating sessions, ensuring line of sight to quarterly / yearly targets through weekly pacing rhythms.
  • Perform regular performance analysis vs. plan, estimates, and prior year, and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Partner in overall FP&A reporting simplification and automation, driving standardization & process improvement in all aspects of income statement planning and reporting.
  • Work effectively with Finance Managers and business leaders to understand & drive income opportunities, and help the CFO and operating leaders to explain monthly performance by driving effective metrics and explanations across P&Ls, business, and functions.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Prior experience in manufacturing and multinational companies, with a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis.
  • A Master's Degree in Business Administration or Certified Public Accountant, with Big Four experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve problems, and lead projects.
  • Highly skilled in working with Microsoft tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and experienced working with ERPs and BI tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs, with established project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

To stand out in this role, you'll have:

  • 6+ years of experience in Finance, with 2+ years of experience in FP&A.
  • A strong track record of driving business performance and sustainability in a manufacturing or multinational company.
