This position will oversee and expand current public health initiatives, recommend and deploy future programming, and deploy process improvement strategies across Health Services. Key Responsibilities

As a Public Health Manager, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • Public Health Documentation: Complete required public health documentation for communicable diseases, such as COVID, TB, and other diseases.
  • Vaccination Clinics: Direct and deploy on-site vaccination clinics (e.g. flu, COVID, rabies, Hep A/B, etc) to promote immunization and prevent the spread of disease.
  • Public Health Education: Develop and maintain public health education resources for leaders and cast members to promote health awareness and education.
  • Public Health Programming: Develop and deploy public health programming across Disney Experiences to promote health and wellness.
  • Health and Safety Programs: Lead/participate in Disney's Health and Safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Policy Development: Develops, recommends, and implements public health program policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate Health Service programs and services for compliance and efficiency, and identify and deploy solutions for process and quality improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Provide contribution to health programs by participating in program planning, monitoring program progress, and doing data analysis.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Support strategic initiatives for health by participating in program planning, monitoring program progress, and doing data analysis.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years experience in a Public Health program, community health organization, or closely related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with leaders, cast members, and other stakeholders.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills to plan, coordinate, and implement public health initiatives and programs.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Willingness and ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Master's Degree: MPH, or related Master's degree in Public Health or a closely related field.
  • Experience in Process Improvement: Experience in process improvement and quality assurance.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Base Pay: The hiring range for this position in CA or FL is $89,700.00-$120,200.00 per year.
  • Bonus and/or Long-term Incentive Units: A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
  • Medical, Financial, and/or Other Benefits: A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
