York Solutions is seeking highly skilled and experienced ETL Engineers to work on a part-time, remote basis for one of our esteemed clients. As an ETL Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting migration efforts, bringing MRx data to Prime, and working on government programs. Position Overview

We are looking for mid-level ETL Engineers with hands-on experience in Informatica and Snaplogic. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with expertise in database design, querying, stored procedures, views, joins, and performance tuning. As an ETL Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and applying ETL development best practices, participating in projects that require in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Development: Design, develop, document, and test ETL interfaces, workflows, sessions, and mappings in Informatica and Snaplogic.
• Data Replication and Synchronization: Develop data replication and synchronization tasks in AWS Cloud (Cloud Application Integrations).
• Technical Analysis: Understand client business objectives and perform technical analysis to respond to their needs.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with application groups to prepare effective solutions for all programs.
• Documentation: Document all technical specifications and associate project deliverables.
• Testing: Design all test cases to provide support to all systems and perform unit tests.
• Post-Deployment Support: Provide post-deployment support and defect resolutions.
• Troubleshooting: Evaluate all functional requirements and map documents, and perform troubleshooting on all development processes.

Technical Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Informatica and Snaplogic: Expertise in Informatica and Snaplogic toolset.
• Integration Experience: Experience working with AWS data services such as RedShift, Aurora, S3, etc.
• SQL and PL-SQL: Strong SQL and PL-SQL expertise working with Oracle database.
• Performance Tuning: Experience with performance tuning of data jobs and pipelines.
• IT Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of IT experience working in ETL and data domain.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with:

• Experience: Experience working with Informatica and Snaplogic toolset.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and understand the data at source and target systems to fix issues within specified timelines.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot ETL jobs and fix issues based on priorities.
• Production Support: Ability to provide sporadic production support if any issues are reported.
• Mapping and Workflow: Understand existing ETL jobs and mappings, sessions, and workflows.
