Role Overview

As an Engineering Program Management Intern at Workwarp, you'll play a critical role in driving project execution, leading cross-functional teams, and communicating project status and issues. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define project plans, schedules, and budgets. Your exceptional social skills, leadership abilities, and technical expertise will enable you to succeed in this fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Define project plans, schedules, and budgets, and drive project execution to ensure timely completion and delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead internal and external multi-functional teams in engineering and validation activities, ensuring tight team coordination and communication.
  • Communication and Presentation: Develop strong presentation and communication skills to effectively communicate project status, issues, and technical information to stakeholders.
  • Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies, and program issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Budgeting and Resource Management: Lead development budgets and engineering builds, ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of engineering principles, technologies, and tools, including hardware, software, and artificial intelligence.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience: Previous experience in engineering program management, project management, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as PMP, Scrum Master, or ITIL.
