Senior UI Frontend Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Architect to design and implement enterprise-grade frontend architectures with a strong focus on security, performance, observability, and scalability. This role will lead technical initiatives across the frontend technology stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing applications.

Core Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead architecture design for frontend systems, ensuring adherence to security, scalability, and performance best practices.
• Drive adoption of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and frontend security standards.
• Mentor engineering teams, set coding standards, and enforce architectural guidelines.

Security Architecture

• Implement Content Security Policy (CSP) and secure authentication flows.
• Define and enforce XSS/CSRF protection strategies and secure state management.
• Establish secure communication protocols and robust API integration patterns.
• Define client-side data encryption and sensitive data handling policies.

Performance Engineering

• Architect code-splitting, lazy loading, and bundle optimization strategies.
• Track and optimize Core Web Vitals and frontend performance metrics.
• Design advanced caching strategies (browser, CDN, service workers).
• Set performance budgets and build automated regression detection.

Error Handling & Logging

• Implement centralized error tracking and reporting systems.
• Establish structured logging, error boundaries, and graceful degradation patterns.
• Build client-side monitoring and real-time alerting infrastructure.
• Define debugging workflows, error categorization, and escalation processes.

Observability & Tracing

• Design distributed tracing for frontend-backend request flows.
• Implement user behaviour analytics and performance telemetry.
• Build real-time dashboards and SLA/SLI monitoring systems.
• Ensure continuous visibility into application health and reliability.

Infrastructure & DevOps

• Architect CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Design micro-frontend systems with module federation patterns.
• Implement feature flags and A/B testing infrastructure.
• Define disaster recovery, rollback, and blue-green deployment strategies.

Data Architecture

• Architect state management patterns and data flow systems.
• Implement real-time data synchronization and offline-first strategies.
• Design API integration patterns and data validation frameworks.

Required Technical Skills

• Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern CSS, and web security standards.
• Strong experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, Sentry).
• Proficiency with build systems (Webpack, Vite), testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of CDN configuration, service workers, and browser APIs.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, authentication, and encryption systems.
