Ventura MedStaff is seeking Nurse Recruiters to join our team!
Job Summary
As a Nurse Recruiter with Ventura MedStaff, you will be building and maintaining relationships with quality healthcare professionals for our clients’ facilities.
Salary Range
$42,000.00 + unlimited commission
Setting Requirements
- On-Site (2909 N. 118th Street, Suite 200; Omaha, NE 68164)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Responsible for the recruitment cycle and management of healthcare professional; sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, housing, assignment and travel.
- Ability to solve problems when issues arise.
- Have effective communication with internal and external teams.
- Meet personal and team sales targets.
- Attend and participate in meetings and events that occur.
- Be the ambassador of the company, by providing a positive and professional manner to our travelers and clients.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Supervisory Duties
- Oversee the daily workflow and assignments of their traveling employees.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Manage traveling employees time and attendance.
- Handles discipline and termination, in accordance with company policy.

Required Skills and Abilities
- Basic clerical and administrative skills.
- Must be self-motivated and goal oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to solve problems as they arise.
- Positive and go getting attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; required
- 1 year Clinician or recruiting experience; preferred
- Healthcare Industry or Terminology knowledge is a plus

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
